I had time to pop on for a wee while so thought i'd take the chance to enter Wendy's digital doodling comp. Thank you Wendy for your freebie it's really fab, i feel in love with it as soon as i caught my eyes on it so i made this card for my daughter Cam's birthday which is today.

I'm off work for the rest of the week due to hurting my ankle on Sunday night i'm not allowed as of the health & saftey rules in a way i agree but it just annoys me that i'm trying to go back to work & they won't let me.

DID YOU MISS ME.......NOT........LOL!!

Well i must say it's been really hectic here as i was doing alot of overtime then i fell ill for a few weeks & i had to start losing weight. Since the end of July i put alot of weight on which the doctors don't know why as i wasn't doing anything different or eat any different so that was a mystery to us all. I had no option to lose the weight as i was in the danger zone & if i didn't do anything about it i was going to end up in hospital which i didn't want at all........so i had to live on homemade soup which Craig & in-laws made for me, friut, veg & bran flakes thats all for the first 3 months which was hard for the first few weeks but it started to get easier as weeks went buy(thank god). I got told i had to lose 5 stones which was a real shock to me i new i was big but didn't want to own up that i was that big till i seen my pics from our day out at M&D'S in July. which i'll show you mind you alot of you have seen them due to me putting them on Facebook. When i got weighed i was........15 stone yep you read that right i know what your saying omg thats big for you Denise well now i can say that i'm down to 13stone which i'm delighted of & so proud of myself for sticking to it. I get weighed next Tues as i now get weighed every fortnight so will keep you up to date with it all. All i can say is that it's great to be in size 16 instead of 20's, which clothes were really limited for me in that size.

I joined the challenge i as i enjoyed doing the passion for promarkers on Facebook

The rules were
Any Gorjuss girl stamp
3-5 embellishments
2 different coloured papers
sentiment(if you want)
colours- red,white & blue

I used papers from DD xmas pad,image donated from Sarah(thanks Sarah love them all) & coloured in using my promarkers. Used scalloped oval nestie & oval nestie for image.The ribbon was white so i coloured the ribbon in red & blue with my promarkers to go with the colour scheme.Scalloped small circles & sentiment Hi. My beads stems are white so coloured them red & blue, i kept one white on each one, topped it off with created for you.

Hope you had a lovely weekend & enjoyed the weather well yesterday was really beautiful & today well it was back to the reall scottish weather rain lol.
Yesterday we went to M&D'S for the day with SIL & her family we all had a great time & we all got sunburn, i got a wee red nose didn't know how red it was till i looked in the mirror this morning & yeah mirror is still in one piece lol.
Craig went onto the Bomber Mark 2 well i'm sorry i couldn't go on that it goes slow then it goes fast & it burrels round. Craig went on it last time it was there & he loved it. He was trying to get me to go on .......I DON'T THINK SO......Well he decided to get Craigjohn on ,who wasn't going on but then went for it oh my brave son . Craigjohn was all happy till he sat in the seat & soon it took off his face went pure white his cheeks were blown up as if he going to be sick & all i could say at that time oh ma poor boy & got a wee bit worried about him.When he got off he felt all shakey & it took time to get his colour back all he could say was not going on that again & felt my mouth was getting ripped apart.
The day went really well we went for 11ish stayed there till closing time got home about 8.40ish had a couple of drinks & went to bed as i was knackered.

CHRISTENING CARDS

Williams Christening scrapbook, Front cover is with blue square backing paper,i used scalloped circle nestie for the forever friends stamped image to go onto & wrapped all different colours of blue ribbon around the rings & added a bow, gem & bottons from my stash oh & i forgot to take photo's of inside

Frame was from Poundland but it original from Asda. I used silver letters,numbers,border & corner peel-offs & Forever friends stamped image coloured with promarkers. Sorry it isn't a clear picture this was the best i could get.

Card was made for MIL & she was Godmother .

SIL'S bookatrix card was again from Joanna Sheen Stardream doublesided assorted packs,silver border, corner & letters peel-offs & a stamped image from Forever friends stamp range & coloured image using my promarkers.

My card & yes card was from Joanna Sheen Stardream Opal doublesided card,used the stamped image again & also coloured in with promarkers, I made the bow from gingham ribbon, ribbon & gems are from my stash

Morning peeps,the sun is shinning but wonder how long ?. While i can, i'm putting another post up my blog it is still got going right now it sticks everytime i go back onto my page it's driving me meeeeee maaaaaaaaad & i'm glad it's just not me as Ann has the same problem too.

We went to Craig's Cousin's son Christening a week past Sunday it was really a nice day although it was raining most of the day & William is adorable. As usual i made the cards for Me, MIL & SIL.For the cards, i used the Glitter Girls Bookatrix & Tall stories boards. I used Stardream card from Joanna Sheen i just love that card & easy to emboss with.

Jar was out of poundland

Jar before it was filled with sweets

Flower was made of 3 scalloped large circle nestie.I cut near to the middle to make a flower on all 3 of them & on each petal i turned one up & 1 down all around them & added a button with the tag tied to the button.

I made this for Stephanie's pal Ashleigh for her birthday. I bought the jar from Pounland & just removed the label which had no glue on it what so ever thank god. I used my PM backing papers 4 of them, i used 3 for the flower & 1 for the label.Used the large scalloped circle nestie for flower,button, peel-offs ( A special friend) & tag are from my stash & filled it up with sweets & yep no chocs.

I have been trying to get on here for over a week now, everytime i came on it just froze for some reason then i tried again at my MIL thinking it would be my compy but to my surprise it was happing on her laptop too. I was getting really angry as had alot to put on & now my mind has all gone blank do you have any of those moments?

Well since i couldn't get on my blog & spent more time on Facebook & i joined the group

I hope you're enjoying the good weather, It's been very warm here but hardly any sun the past few days, as i'm doing this it has just begun to rain it might not come to anything but least my washing is done just got a pile of ironing to do which i'll do tomorrow.

Craigjohn & Stephanie are on school holidays from Friday past & i've already got i'm bored, nothing to do, Craig & i where telling them in the school hols in our days you were more out than in, playing with friends with balls, tap door run getting all muddy & all those things both of them just looked at us & said " did you". Technology has got alot to answer for the computer we got in our days were spectrum & commodore 64 do you remember those lol.

I've been trying to get as much crafting done as possible with the kids being off which isn't too bad, i get up with Craig at 5.30am but i'm awake before then, make his brekkie & get his sandwiches & goodies ready for work once Craig is gone i start on my craft so i can say i'm chuffed to bits that i've done this much lol.

Here is my 1st fairy doodle cards & wallet cards , i just love those stamps so much but need to get a bigger arcylic block or rock-a-block as one set is bigger than the ones i've got so haven't had the chance to use them yet boooooooo no fair!!! lol. All wallets are for my good friends Dianne, Kay, Jennie & one for Paula(mamof9) which i done a wallet swap with her on docrafts site. I enjoyed doing these cards & loved doing the colouring in with them different than usual & yes with my promarkers.

CARDS FOR WORK MATES!

This was made for a friend at work, her daughter's friends birthday is soon so i got asked ot make this & of course i said yeah no probs. I used my bookatrix board from the Glitter Girls, I used 2 different shades of lilac & 1 sheet of cream card, used the Daisy stamped image kindly given from Kay thanks Kay you saved my life there lol....... coloured it in using my promarkers the colours i used were Dusky pink for cheeks, Ivory for the skin, Spice for the trousers & Amethyst for the top,Sandstone for the hair,grass for the grass & yellow,grass & Amethyst for flowers & peel-offs & gems from my stash
This was made for another workmate, it was her grandaughter's birthday on Father's day too. I used the Daisy image once again love the image it's just soooooo sweet.I used Cinnamon for hair,can't remember the colour for top,Pastel blue for belt & flowers with yellow added for flowers, Pastel green for the grass. peel-offs & gems are from my stash
